MR WILSON

Over the last few years, Mr Wilson has cultivated a reputation within electronic music as a an underworld figure. While the fruits of Wilsons labour can be heard on both sides of the Pacific, only the initiated are capable of tracking down the man responsible for the toplines that have been the driving force behind electronic music’s leading artists.

Scrolling through the pages of Billboard, Spin Magazine, and Dancing Astronaught, fingerprints of  Wilson’s work can be found everywhere. As a co-writer on Kayla, the lead single from Deadmau5 protege  Attlas, Wilson found himself in the Top Ten of dance music charts across the planet. Their follow up collaboration, Batch, resonated just as strongly, earning critical acclaim for industry insiders and punters like.

But before the rest of the world  took notice, Wilson was making a name for himself as a featured artist in his hometown. As Mr Wilson, he was the driving force in Tommy Trash’s breakout hit, the ARIA award-winning #1 Need Me To Stay. His fellow countrymen rapidly enlisted his services, and seemingly overnight Wilson was taking the likes of Tom Piper, Helena, and Dave Winnel to the top of the charts. Indeed, Wilson’s collaboration with Tommy Trash & Tom Piper, All My Friends, earned a place in the record books as Australia’s longest reigning Club Chart #1, and became the signature song for all involved.

Of the strength of these records, Mr Wilson was called upon to bring his talents to Europe, where he master minded breakout hits for the likes of Disfunction, Dirt Caps, Tony Junior and Oliver Twizt. From Armada to Spinnin, and everything in between, Wilson’s talents can be found across every European Dance Label one could imagine.

Capping of his most fruitful year to date, 2016 is already looking like an exciting chapter in the Mr Wilson story, with upcoming collaborations with the likes of Elizabeth Rose, MXWLL,(etc etc).
